By Car From Boston, Mass., (189 miles): Take I-95 into the State of Maine. Follow I-95 north to I-295 (Exit 44), South Portland. Rockland is four miles farther on Coastal Route One which becomes Park Street. Turn right at Union Street (corner of Dairy Queen & Rite Aid Pharmacy. Turn left at Pleasant Street. Arrive at 16 Pleasant Street, ~ripples~ Inn. From Quebec, Canada : At the U.S. border, Route 173 South becomes Route 201 South. Follow Route 201 South and merge onto I-95 South. Proceed on I-95 South to Exit 109 (Augusta). Follow Route 17 East to Rockland.ME-17(31.1 mi). Turn at N Main Street. Turn right at US-1 South. Continue on Union Street past Dairy Queen & Rite Aid Pharmacy on corners, then left at Pleasant Street. Arrive at 16 Pleasant Street, ~ripples~ Inn.
By Boat Enter the mouth of the Rockland Harbor in Penobscot Bay, the Owls Head Light will be on your portside, the Rockland Breakwater Light will be on starboard. To contact the Rockland Harbormaster at the Public Landing, call 207-594-0312.     By Air All major airlines fly into Portland(PWM) and Bangor (BGR). Limousine and shuttle-van service is available from Portland and Bangor to Rockland. Car rentals available. Cape Air provides direct flights to Knox County Regional Airport (RKD) in Owls Head (3 miles to Rockland) from Boston (BOS). Taxi service or car rental is available at Knox County Regional Airport.
